We had a school group of 40 students coming the next morning, so we started the construction. It was after midnight, and we were covered in dust and sweat from head to toe. Two neighbours came to ask for information about Spoken Cafe. Altan Hoca’s face was covered in white dust, and sweat was dripping from his face. He was also holding a big hammer. It was about 1 am. He started giving information for about 20 minutes. They were quiet, listened for 20 minutes, and left.

Pope Francis: A Humble Life
Pope Francis, born Jorge Mario Bergoglio, has led a humble life. While studying in Buenos Aires, he worked as a doorman at a nightclub to support himself. Even after becoming the Pope, he kept his simple lifestyle. Pope Francis has not watched TV since 1990, saying it is just not for him.
As a cardinal, instead of living in a large, luxurious residence, he chose a small apartment. He didn’t mind using public transport and even cooked his own meals. After becoming Pope, he continues to show humility by taking the bus with other cardinals to his hotel, instead of using the papal car. His simple choices reflect his deep commitment to living humbly and serving others.
