Dreams, Daydreams, and Nightmares
What is the difference between daydreams and dreams at night?
Do you agree with the saying “Life is like a dream”?
Do you believe dreams have meanings or are they just random?
How often do you daydream? What do you usually daydream about?
Do you think your dreams can tell you something about your life or feelings?
Have you ever had a dream that scared you so much you woke up?
Do you think there’s a connection between what you experience during the day and your dreams at night?
What do you think causes daydreaming? Is it a good or bad habit?

The Diversity of Life on Earth: 8.7 Million Species
While humans are the dominant species on Earth, with our sprawling cities and advanced technology, we are only one species among millions. According to a 2011 study published in the journal PLoS Biology, there are approximately 8.7 million species of life on our planet. This number includes a wide range of living organisms, from animals to plants, fungi, and microorganisms.
The study’s breakdown of Earth’s biodiversity estimates:
7.8 million species of animals
298,000 species of plants
611,000 species of mushrooms
36,400 species of protozoa
27,500 species of algae
However, it’s important to note that this estimate does not even account for bacteria, which are estimated to make up a significant portion of Earth’s total biodiversity. This diversity highlights the complexity of life on our planet and reminds us that we share the Earth with a vast array of organisms, each playing a crucial role in the ecosystem.
Despite our technological advancements, humans are just one part of a much larger web of life. The richness of species on Earth serves as a reminder of the interconnectedness of all living beings and the importance of preserving our environment for future generations.
